Are the speakers plugged into the CD drive?

NOTE: The sound card may have several different options which may make it confusing to locate. The speaker jack generally looks similar to a headphone jack and may have a symbol over it that looks like sound waves coming from a half-circle. If the computer has a modem, it may be part of the sound card. If this is true, a phone cable may be plugged in to the sound card also.
